Here Im Today with the newly launched Maybelline Superstay 14hrs lipstick in Continuous Cranberry.

What It says..

Apply your lip color by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.

What I say...
Maybelline14hrs lipsticks come in a chubby bullet packaging, where the cap is white & lower part is the exact shade of the lipstick which is great to spot in your stash. Continuous Cranberry is a true cranberry shade, deep red with pink undertones.

The lipstick has very smooth & satin like texture. Thought it is not very smooth on application. There is a slight tugging while applying it. It is very richly pigmented & gives full color to the lips in 2 coats. It has a semi matte creamy finish.
It feels a little sticky & heavy on the lips, its just normal with any longwear lipsticks. You wont be able to enjoy this lipstick if you have a severe dry lip condition. I also take extra care of exfoliating my lips & using a lip balm before applying this as it enhances dry chapped lips & fine lines.
Unlike other longwear lipstick I dint experience severe dryness of the lips even after wearing it for 12 straight hours! Talking about wear time... it can easily last upto 12-14hrs. It wears off patchy after meals. & does transfers a bit. It doesn't bleeds or smears all day long.

Cons:

• not smooth to apply
• it may settle in to fine lips of lips upon longwear
• wears off unevenly after meals
• need to exfoliate lips or atleast nourish the lips before wearing
• may be drying for some

Verdict: Continuous Cranberry is a great shade for the evening or especially for the brides. It is a good longwear lipstick. But don't forget to prep your lips before wearing this.
If you are looking for a semi matte longwear lipstick & you dont mind a slight dryness on the lips like I do you might like this one! I think its a must have for all working women as after applying you can be carefree about it! & everyone will find a perfect shade for her!
