What I say...
I have been eyeing Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup since 6-7months now before it was launched in India when I saw my favorite youtube guru taking & raving about it! I knew this will me MY kind of foundation! & then suddenly a few months back I see Revlon has launched it in India!!!!! A dream come true...I was jumping with joy!!! Ok back to the review.. enough of flashback.
Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup comes in a glass tub, with a soft plastic lid & a black screw cap. After many uses the product tends to comes our from the sides & makes it a bit messy.
The shade number is stuck on top of the jar. Im in the shade Natural Tan.
The consistency of this foundation is not as thick as mousse & not as liquid as liquid foundations. It somewhere in between. I had swatched Maybelline Dream Mousse & Loreal Matte Morphose but dint get them as I felt it quiet thick & will feel heavy on my oily skin.
Even when holding it up for sometime it doesn't slides down.
I always use my fingers to use this & have found it to be the best tool to use this product.
The texture is very light & satin like. This is the most easiest foundation I have ever come across to work with. Thought its a mousse creamy formula it spreads like a dream on me. It feels a little oily when applying with fingers, but finishes off quiet matte. It can be worn from sheer to medium coverage. If you have alot of blemishes & spots you need to use a concealer as it doesn't cover them fully. Feels very light weight & gives flawless finish. It doesn't looks cakey at all. It doesn't give an artificial matte look as alot of matte foundations/ mousse do. No heavy or greasy feeling.
It doesn't highlights my pores, I do have a some large pores near the nose. it gives a very smooth finish as if you have worn a silicon based primer beneath.
It sets well on my skin. It gives a healthy glow to my face although it is matte finish.
Now that the weather is quiet dry I hardly use any powders to set it even if I have oily skin, but in summers I can see myself using very less finishing powders to set it. On my oily skin it gets a bit shinier after 5hrs of wear.
It truly lasts a long time upto 10hrs on me. I can't say if it lasts for 24hrs as I never wore it for such long time! It doesn't looks patchy or doesn't melts through out the day & is very comfortable to wear all day long.
It has a thick creamy consistency so I do moisturize my face lightly before applying this as it helped to blend in the product easily. If you are dry skinned do moisturize your skin well before using this product.
I'm not happy with the way it photographs. As it has SPF in it I look a bit white than usual.

on me..
Im also wearing it Here
Pros:
Verdict: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup is amazing mousse foundation that I have ever tried. It amazing that even thought it is matte mousse it gives a natural matte look & gives a healthy glow.
I wish the packaging was a bit more practical or even lighter than this. & I also wish that It dint make me look whiter than usual in photos!
& It would have been great if they launched more shades. If you are darker than NC 40-42 you wont find your match.
I highly recommend this to everyone!
