My Essential Eye Makeup Brushes!

Today il posting something that i had been meaning to do since a very long time! This post is a requested one too!
Il share with you what are the essential eye make up brushes according to me!
Good make up brushes are just as important as good quality products your are using. Good make up brushes doesn't means that they have to be expensive. Some are expensive ones & some are inexpensive too & they work as good as the high end ones. 

Since the time I have been using makeup I have come across very good eye makeup brushes that il share with you. As beginners the first name that comes into our mind is Vega. & there are some more brands too!

So let me tell you what are my most essential brushes!

Eye Shadow Brush: This one is the most basic e/s brush. It is used to pack on e/s all over the lid. These brushes have to dense so that it picks up good amount of color. Similar to MAC 239/ Sigma E55

Vega Eye Shadow Brush

Short Domed Brushes: These brushes  can be used in alot of different ways. It can be used in  the crease, smudge out the e/s or pack on color all over the lid.

Top: Unique Style             Bottom: Krylon Art 3511

Crease Brush: As the name suggest it is used in the crease to give a dimension to the eye. You need to find a perfect crease brush according to your eye shape & that fits into your eye socket well.

Inglot Crease Brush 80HP

Small Precision Brush/Pencil Brush: I love these brushes. They are used for highlighting in the inner corners on the eyes, to pack on more color in the crease to intensify the depth, & also to smudge eyeliner or eyeshadow around the eye for a smokey look. Similar to MAC 219/ Sigma E30.

I dont remember the brand!

Smudge Brush: It usually comes with a sponge tip. It is used to smudge the eyeliner on the lid or below the eye for a smokey look.

Fluffy Brushes: These fluffy brushes are a must have. They can be use to give a light wash of any color all over the lid, or can be used to blend the color outwards. Similar to MAC213/ Inglot 28PO

The Body Shop

Blending Brush: These are usually little longer & has a tapered tip. Blending brushes are very important while doing any eyemake up. It is used for blending 2 or more eyeshadows for a more polished look. You need smooth transition of 1 color to the other. I also use it to set the concealer under my eye as the size fits me eye very well. It is similar to MAC 224/ Sigma E40 brush/ Inglot 4SS

Vega Eye Brush

 Small Angular Brush: Angular brushes are used to fill in your brows. It can also be used to create a winged eyeliner with gel liners. I also use it to line my upper & lower lashline with eyeshadow to create a soft eyeliner look. Similar to MAC 208/ Sigma E65/ Inglot 17TL

Haiting 828 Anhular Brush

Gel Liner Brush: These usually come with the gel liner itself.

Maybelline

Eye brow/ Lash Brush: This may not seem be so important for you! But it is! The brush side is used to keep your brows in places, you can spray some hairspray on it & run it over youe brows & it will stay in place. You can this trick on a spooly brush or old mascara wand too! The bristle side is used to comb out the lashes after the mascara dries.

Some More Brushes that I recommend:

Eyeliner brush: Left Inglot 23T, MAC 211, Inglot 30T angular

Eyeliner brushes: Always a keeper. you may like the eyeliner but you may not like the liner that it comes with. The bent liner brush is great for beginners or unsteady hand. You can rest the heel of you hand on your chin & the bent brush will help you to get a good steady line.

Inglot7FS, MAC 275, Sigma E70

Fluffy Angular Brushes: Great to add crease color, highlight the inner duct & brow bone.

Are you a blush addict? yeah? I am too! I love them alot! I cant stay without blush! Blushes are my favorite of all! If im in no mood for make up, il just wear some mascara & blush & im out of the door! ok enough blabbering gurl.. get to the topic!
So Il review today the first blush that i had got from Inglot when their new store had launched in Bandra. (See the Haul).
This baby is one of my favorites its the Freedom System Blush # 30!!!!

Price: Rs 350/-
Qty: 6.5g
Shelf Life: 18m

It comes in silver metal pan, packed in a sturdy plastic case as its a refill. I keep as it is & its not a problem to use/store. You may buy a separate palette for the blush.

Its a matte blush in a burned pink color with coral undertones. The color makes my cheeks look naturally flushed.
Its extremely pigmented. Blends superb...it goes zoop on me! I think it will look gorgeous on every skin tone! It blends well with other blushes too. It stays for about 6 long hrs on my oily t-zone. When it fades it doesn't' becomes patchy, it fades evenly. 
The texture is soft & smooth. Ingredients are not mentioned.

The only thing i don't like about this is that its very soft & after you dip in the brush there's alot of powder that comes out.

This is how it looks on me..

Pros:

• affordable
• super matte
• well pigmented
• blends amazingly
• din't break me out
• good staying power
• fades evenly
• natural 
• doesn't becomes patchy

Cons:

• some may not like the plastic case that it comes with
• powdery fall outs

Verdict: Grab it!! & you will know..
Il definitely repurchase this one & try some more shades too!

My Make up collection & Storage│A little childhood story.

Hey All,
I have been collection make up for quiet a long time now. & I also have figured out quiet a decent storage for them.
I love doing make up!!! Im a makeup addict! As my mom & everyone in the family says that i loved make up so much that i used to use my moms kajal & lipstick when i was may be just 3 yrs old!!! Ofcourse i don't remember anything about that.. but im pretty sure that my LOVE for make up must have started from that time itself! I used to wear my mom's dupatta as a saree, scribble lipstick on my mouth put some red round bindi, wear my moms jewellery & bangles that used to fit in my arms & i used to roam around in the house.. this is the story told by my Pishimuni (Dad's sister) & Didu (Granny). I imagine how i must have looked!

So as promised yesterday (on Facebook) that i will show my collection & storage as i will be cleaning my shelf today. Here Im with my baby..
P.S. Im not bragging or flaunting my collection. I just have a decent amount of collection & i would love to share it with you guys (only pictures haha). & Im very proud of it.

Super Mad Huge June Haul!!!!

I went MAD this month!!! I just cudn't stop buying..
But i don't feel guilty at all..
Look at the number of stuffs that i got?? Oh my god.. I'm such a shopaholic? I wish there was a profession where i could shop all day long!!! I can be a professional shopper.. Uhhhh may be I shop for my self & I get paid for it .. How's that!!!! Super!!!

INGLOT new store at Bandra!!! & What I got from there!!!

All the facebook fans of Inglot India must be knowing that Inglot launched a new store in Bandra on 10th of this month & they were having a flat 25% off till 21st that's tomorrow!
So i couldn't wait to go there & grab some stuff that i really wanted! As is it they hardly give any discount generally.. so i couldn't loose this opportunity!
