L'oreal Paris True Match Blush- Review, Swatches

Heloo Gorgeous !!!
Today i'm Reviewing L'oreal Paris True Match Blush in the shade Honey 205.
Price- Rs 650/- for 5g
What it says...
True Match Blush flawlessly complements your skin’s tone and texture. Coordinates perfectly with True Match Makeup, Powder and Concealer. True-to-life shades precisely match your skin tone and undertone, leaving you with the most natural flush of color imaginable.

Available in 8 shades as per the website but in the  stores of India only 6 shades were available. The shade i got is honey which is not there in the website, probably they must have changed it to Honey from Bare Honey..

What I say...
The packaging is definitely different from how it looks on the net. As you can see what i bought it doesn't have "True Match" on the top lid. Its a grey packaging with 2 compartment like the Colorbar blush. The attractive part is that they have the True Match logo engraved in the product.. so cute!!!
The texture is very smooth & very easy to apply. This shade is not matte or shinny it somewhat pearly. Its is not very powdery & not pigmented so with a single swipe of the blush you get a very sheer coverage. & it is buildable so you can have your desired amount of color. It looks pigmented in the packaging but doesn't come out well.
I tried using it 2 3 ways just to see how it works on my not so oily T- Zone. 1st i had it on over my L'oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder- it faded after 4 hrs. So i used it over my Clinique foundation- it faded after 5 hrs. Then I tried using it & topping it with my Revlon Color Stay Aqua Mineral Finishing Powder - it still faded after 5 hrs. So i figured out its not meant for oily skin, it will stay a little longer on Normal/Dry skin. I have also used it with other blushes & it blends well.

Pros:
  • Good packaging.
  • comes with a small mirror & brush.
  • smooth silky texture
  • good color for everyday wear.
  • pigmentation is buildable
  • blends well
  • haven't broken me out
  • this color is great on Medium skin tones for everyday wear.
  • blends well with other blushes.
Cons:
  • Expensive for so little product
  • brush is very small, almost useless & harsh.
  • no staying power.
  • color may not show up on dark/ olive skin tone.
  • not pigmented.
  • no ingredients mentioned, no shelf life mentioned.
Update: If you use the blush atleast 5 times then it stays for around 5 hours then it starts to fade a bit, but it doesn't disappears! This shade is quiet light so layering it alot doesn't looks too much. May be other colors will look too dark after too much layering.

Overall Verdict: Its fairly OK product but i think its quiet expensive for the amount that it gives & the quality. I wish it had a good staying power. I had bought it make it my 'Go- For' blush for everyday but again i returned to using my Colobar Blush in Just Earth.

Buy Again- No. Yes if some magic happens & the staying power improves... haha

Rating-3.5/5
