Hey Gurls!
Here Im with a review today. Its the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer & im in the shade Honey.

What It says..

A brighter idea in concealers:
• Gel-based formula diffuses light to provide on-the-spot perfection in just one touch
• Illuminates as it conceals
• Dermatologist, Allergy Tested

FOR BEST RESULTS

To brighten face, apply over brows as well as to the inner and outer corners of eyes and blend with tip of finger.
Apply to sides of nose and on chin and blend to give your face a luminous glow.
To sculpt and highlight facial features, apply in small strokes to the cheekbones and blend.
To make lips look fuller, outline lips with lumi concealer and blend.
To cover imperfections, dot concealer onto desired area and blend.

Price: Rs 475/- for 1.5ml

What I say...
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer comes in a twist up pen like packaging. You need to twist up the bottom & the product comes out on the brush tip. Unlike other twist up products you just need to twist it 3-4 times & it dispenses the product out.
They say its available in 6 shades but I have seen only 3 shades on counters. Im in the shade Honey which is the darkest shade available & it suits me well.
The product is not actually like a gel & doesn't even feel gel like. It is a pink based concealer which is great for highlighting.  It is very smooth to apply. Doesn't settles into fine lines. It has a dry finish so you need to moisturize the under well. It may look grey & ashy if you have major dark circles. So you need to use a normal concealer for dark circles underneath & then apply this for the highlighted look.

It is a highlighting concealer so you are not suppose to use on the blemishes, as you don't want your blemishes to get highlighted & make them prominent. I use it where I need to highlight my face, like I use it under the eye in a V shape. On the bridge of the nose & some continuous flared out strokes on the forehead, on the side of the mouth. I don't know why they have directed to use on the sides of your nose! You don't want the sides of the nose to get highlighted & make it look broad, it has to be contoured!!!

It blends well & doesn't dries out as soon as you apply, so you can put it everywhere on the face where needed & then start blending it. I use it after my liquid foundation is done.

I love the effect that it gives. It looks very healthy & the highlighted area look naturally bright! So thats good! I haven't had issues with the weartime too. After using it you have to wipe the tip as the product may dry out on it & not letting easy application for the next use.
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • travel friendly
  • healthy highlighted look
  • blends well
  • doesnt looks cakey
  • smooth to apply
  • doesn't settles into fine lines
  • longwear
Cons:
  • wont suit dry skin
  • may look ashy if used on its own if you have major dark circles
Verdict: This is a sure repurchase for me. I love highlighting & contouring everyday, so this is an added bonus. I love how bright it makes me look, without making it look unnatural.
