Vogue Beauty Awards!!! The Best Dressed & the ahem..

Vogue Beauty Awards just got over, held on 1st August. The awards ceremony was held in the ballroom of the Taj Lands End,Bandra  Mumbai. It was the 3rd edition of the awards..


The Best according to me..

Deepika Padokone in D&G

Deepika Padukone was seen in a sequin skirt by Dolce & Gabanna. Her makeup, patent smokey eye with a thick liner, nude lips & black peep toes were all a perfect 10! Loved her beachy waves hair.

Kajol in Ayesha Depala

Kajol won the "Timeless Beauty Award". She was seen wearing a Ayesha Depala nude color gown. I love her smokey eye make up & nude lips.

Angela Jonsson in Gaurav Gupta

Model turned actor Angela Jonsson won “Best Model” award was seen wearing a black Gaurav Gupta gown. Bold but beautiful!

Ileana D'Cruz in Roberto Cavalli

Another model turned actress Ileana D'Cruz who is set to make her Hindi movie debut in Barfi rocked a strappy Roberto Cavalli number. She sported a dark smokey eye & nude lip. I guess this look will never go out of fashion!

Dia Mirza

This dame will never ever be seen in an "oops" moment! She is born to dress impeccably! This time though Dia Mirza kept her dress simple but grabbed everyone attention with her fresh haircut with bangs! Im loving this new look of hers! I love her thickly rimmed eyes & her bracelet on the right hand.

Diana Penty in Gucci

“Best Debutant” Diana Penty wore a safe black gown by Gucci. She kept it simple but classic. 

Nargis Fakhri in Roberto Cavalli

Another Roberto Cavalli lover. Nargis fakhri was also seen in a Cavalli gown. I bet no one else could have done justice to this one. Its a little tricky gown! But she carried it off well.

Pooja Makhija in Karen Millen

Nutritionist Pooja Makhija was also a perfect 10! Dressed in Karen Miller satin grey dress with a lovely bow on the shoulders. Matched with peep toes & a black clutch. I never knew nutritionist dress so well!

Poorna Jagannathan in Bibhu Mohapatra

Surprisingly Poorna Jagannathan dint get me thinking "what is she thinking?". This time she truly made me like her style. Dressed in a Bibhu Mohapatra gown suited her the best. Love the color, the fall of the garment & her lipcolor!

Pria Kataria Puri

Pria Kataria Puri was wearing a pretty "never go wrong" white gown with a classic red lip 7 winged eyliner look.

Sonali Bendre in Dior

Here is another one of my favorites from my best dressed list. Sonali as far as i remember has never been in as "oops" moment too! Always dressed as per the occasion. Here she looks as gorgeous in a Dior gown.

Monica Dogra in  Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna

 Monica Dogra the voice of band Shaa'ir and Func is looking beautiful in a Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna gown. I love her hair & make up. simple & pretty!

I love royal blue! & Priya Tanna rocks a Anaikka sari with black studded blouse. I love her hair accessories, hair make up everything. For once some one in this frame knows what to wear & is not a prick in the eye.

So that's how glittery Vogue Beauty Awards 2012 was. Im always excited for the VBA's since last 3yrs. This time it looks as some of the judges din't make the fashion thing happening for themselves.
